Membership Terms and Conditions

1. This agreement is between IFM Russian Introductions of PO Box 4081, Hornchurch, Essex. RM12 5AZ hereinafter referred to as 'IFM', 'we', 'us' or 'our' and the person applying for membership of the IFM service hereinafter referred to as 'the applicant', 'the member', 'you' or 'your'.

2. The following is a definition of terms used within this agreement.
'the applicant' means the person applying for membership or a person who has had his/her application for membership accepted.
'the member' is an applicant who has had his or her application for membership accepted.
'the service' means the IFM service as described on the web site www.ifm-intros.net
'membership' means membership of the IFM Service.
'members' means members of the IFM service.
'application form' means the application form (also referred to on the web site as the 'sign up form') which the applicant must complete to apply for membership of the IFM service
'the web site' is the IFM web site at 'www.ifm-intros.net' or an authorised domain which holds an identical copy of the 'www.ifm-intros.net' web site.
The 'Internal Mail Messaging Service' - is the web site based messaging system used on the www.ifm-intros.net web site.
'Active member' - is a paid member for the appropriate period (applicable to gentlemen members)
'Passsive member' - is a free member whose profile is advertised at our discretion and who has restricted membership options.

3. By applying for membership the applicant confirms to us that he/she is over 18, of good character and has not been convicted of any crime which has caused physical and/or psychological harm or injury to another person.

4. The applicant confirms that he/she is sincere in using the IFM service for the intended purpose as described on the IFM web site (www.ifm-intros.net) and if accepted as a member agrees not to use the service for any other purpose or to promote any other service or product either directly or indirectly.

5. The applicant confirms that the information he/she provides on the application form and photo/s provided truly relate to him/herself and that by submitting the application form he/she wishes to apply for membership of the IFM service. The applicant assigns to IFM, with full title guarantee, all copyright in his/her profile and photographs posted in connection with his/her use of the service. All information provided by the applicant is covered by the IFM privacy policy displayed on the IFM web site.

6. When using the IFM 'Internal Mail Messaging Service' the member agrees not to include or request any url addresses (web site or web page addresses) in his/her communications with other IFM members. In addition any non paid member who uses the 'Internal Mail Messaging Service' agrees not to include or request any email addresses.

7. The applicant accepts responsibility for all information he/she enters about him/herself on the application form and so the applicant must take care not to enter by mistake any sensitive information which he/she would prefer to keep private. The applicant further acknowledges that IFM does not accept responsibility for any information which may be obtained by hackers or those that seek to misuse the IFM service.

8. Unless indicated otherwise on the application form, the applicant acknowledges that all information provided on the application form (excluding the contact details) and the photo he/she provides will be used to create a profile which can be viewed by other members.

9. IFM may at its sole discretion remove or edit any profile or photo which it regards as inappropriate or refuse to publish the profile without giving any reason or prior notice to the member.

10. It is understood that IFM accepts all information provided by its members in good faith and cannot accept responsibility for any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the profiles or for the outcome of meetings between its members. By using the IFM service the member acknowledges that IFM does not conduct background checks of its members. Indeed IFM encourages its members when meeting or arranging to meet another IFM member to exercise all the commonsense precautions they would normally employ when meeting somebody they do not know for the first time. A member uses the IFM service on the understanding that IFM cannot and do not guarantee that their interest in any particular member on the IFM database will be reciprocated. The member accepts that IFM cannot guarantee compatability between its members in terms of language or personaility. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations the applicant has a seven working days cooling off period (cancellation period) counting from the day after he/she has submitted the on-line application form which is when the contract for our service is deemed to have been concluded. However if the applicant should decide to commence use of our service within the cooling off period then no refund or partial refund of the membership fee (if applicable) is possible particularly as most of our members get suited soon after joining.

11. The member acknowledges that it is his/her own responsibility to take all sensible safety precautions when arranging to meet other members and that he/she will read the advice on the 'Be Safe Advice' page of the web site.

12. The member agrees not to flame, insult, mock, feign interest or behave in anyway which may cause harm or offence or generally spoil the enjoyment of the service for other members.

13. Whilst every effort is taken to exclude those who wish to abuse the IFM service, IFM cannot accept responsibility for the behaviour of its members.

14. The member can terminate his or her membership at any time by notifying IFM accordingly by email addressed to membership@ifm-intros.net and at the member's request his or her profile will be deleted from the records and web site of IFM.

15. If the member terminates his/her membership or causes IFM to terminate his/her membership due to non compliance with the terms of this agreement then no unused portion of the membership fee (if any) shall be refunded.

16. Membership is not transferable.

17. IFM does not accept liability for any loss (consequential or otherwise) sustained by the member or any third party as a result of the member's use of the service, or as the result of any administrative error or omission by IFM or as a result of any failure in the operation of the IFM web site. The liability of IFM to the member or any third party in any other event resulting from whatever cause shall not exceed £ 1 (one pound).

18. If the member causes IFM to incur any expense, claims, penalties, damages legal or otherwise or causes IFM to be sued as a result of providing the service to the member then the member will fully indemnify IFM for all such expenses or losses resulting therefrom. Such indemnity shall include but is not limited to any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) sustained by IFM relating to an inadvertent breach of copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property or other rights of any third party in respect of data or photographs which the member submits to the site. In addition the member will pay IFM interest at a daily rate of 2 % above the Bank of England base rate for all outstanding monies owed until IFM have been fully reimbursed.

19. The representative service in Russia is optional and is subject to the representative's availability and agreement and is not included in the membership fee.

20. If any amount owed by a member to IFM remains outstanding then IFM reserves the right to suspend the service to the member until the amount owed has been fully paid.

21. If any member breaches these terms and conditions IFM reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and the applicant's use of the service which will include the removal of his or her profile. In such event, the applicant shall not be entitled to a full or partial refund of the membership fee paid (if any).

22. The member agrees not to copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, or sell any information from this web site.

23. The member agrees not to include in his/her profile any telephone numbers, street addresses, last names, URL's (web site addresses) or email addresses and agrees to IFM removing such information if it is included.

24. The applicant agrees not to advertise to other members any products or services through the IFM service. The applicant further agrees not to transmit any chain letters or junk email to other members or to post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

25. The applicant agrees to accept email notifications from IFM which are relevant to his or her use of the IFM service.

26. The applicant acknowledges that opinions, advice, statements, offers or other information or content made available through the IFM web site by third parties are those of their respective authors and should not necessarily be relied upon. The applicant further acknowledges that it is the third party author who is solely responsible for such content.

27. By making use of this web site the member is deemed to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions as confirmed on the application form.
