Q. If I become an active member and decide to suspend my membership for whatever reason can I reactivate my active membership at a later date to use the unexpired portion ?

A. There is no limit. However, if you feel too many members are contacting you then if you wish we can suspend your membership until further notice.

Q. How long can I advertise my photo and profile for ?

A. For as long as you wish.

Q. Is it safe to meet people I do not know through IFM ?

A. Its no more or less safe than meeting people for the first time through any other means. As long as you take all the usual commonsense precautions when meeting someone for the first time there should be no problem.

Q. What would you suggest I do to get the most from your service ?

A. Try not to be too restrictive in the criteria you stipulate for the person you wish to meet. This will enable you to meet more members and thereby give you a better chance of meeting the person who is right for you. It is also important to have a nice and presentable photo with your profile. Gentlemen who make the effort to display a nice photo with their profile tend to attract much more interest from the ladies.

Q. Can I alter my profile after I have registered ?

A. Yes, you can do this from the 'Edit Profile' option after you have logged in.

Q. How can I delete my profile if I no longer want to be advertised ?

A. Just send an email to support@ifm-intros.net and state you would like your photos and profile deleted. In the email please state your username, reference number (shown on your profile) and the email address you registered with us.

Q. I've heard about scammers on the Internet, how do I protect myself from them ?

A. The overwhelming majority of people who join an introduction agency/dating site are sincere and genuine people who are seriously hoping to meet the right person. However, we do not deny that there is a small minority of individuals (both men and women) on the Internet who may join a dating site not for the purpose of meeting somebody but rather for the purpose of defrauding them. We take scammers and fraudulent use of our agency very seriously and give the following advice:  Just simply NEVER under any circumstances send money to anybody you have never met or do not know well and trust completely. Some of these scammers sound very plausible and their stories are convincing and designed to appeal to your good nature so that you will send them money. The request is usually made after you have exchanged a number of messages and the scammer has gained your trust. A member who is genuinely interested in meeting you will not insist on you sending money. If you believe that somebody is behaving inappropriately please email support@ifm-intros.net and we will investigate.

Q. How do I change my email address ?

Just send an email to support@ifm-intros.net and your email address will be amended accordingly. In your email please state your username, reference number (shown on your profile) and the email address you registered with us.

Q. How do I change my password ?

A. You can do this from the 'Change Password' option after you have logged in.

Q. When someone emails me, where does the email go ?

When a member sends you a message, it goes straight into your onsite message inbox. You will then receive an automated notification sent to your email address to let you know that it is there. Sometimes Internet service providers may wrongly identify automated emails as spam so we strongly recommend that you regularly login to the IFM web site to see if there are any messages for you and who has shown interest in your profile.

Q. When someone sends a message to my onsite message inbox, how do I read the message and respond to it ?

To read the message, simply login to the site and go to your Inbox. If you decide to write back, simply click "reply", write your own message and then click 'send'. Your message will go straight into the member's onsite Inbox, and they will then receive an automated email notification to their personal email address.
